Susan Shaver, Principal of Learning by Design¸ is a Training & Development Specialist who designs, facilitates and evaluates Management Development Workshops for clients in the manufacturing, service, retail and educational fields.

Recognized for her ability to bring energy and business relevance to facilitation, Susan's background includes 20 years progressive experience in the Human Resources field specifically in training and recruitment.

Susan's passion is working with adult learners! Her strengths are program design and facilitation from a business perspective. Her success is supported by a Masters of Adult Education, a degree in Psychology and 2 university diplomas: l in Adult Education (Train the Trainer) and l in Management Development.

Of the numerous corporate and educational programs Susan facilitates her all-time favorite is "How To Teach Adults" the pre-requisite college course for the Adult Educators Certificate. Reason? The joy of helping teachers and trainers identify how much they really do know and just how valuable their experiences are!
